Simple Truths for Life with Charles Tapp is a weekly program heard around the world, providing simple answers to some of life’s every day struggles. Subscribe, and hear new messages each week.
Today, Charles Tapp concludes this series, “Going Deeper…Reaching Wider: Experiencing the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit” by asking if there is anything we could do to ever cause the Holy Spirit to leave us, and therefore, not do the transformative work in our lives, with his message “The Departure of the Spirit.”
You’re invited to a morning of praise and worship with Pastor Charles Tapp as he shares a special message titled “Hope In Trying Times” at Manassas Seventh-day Adventist Church in Manassas, Virginia.
There will be a ministry for children, free gifts, and Pastor Charles Tapp would love to meet you.
This all takes place on Saturday, April 5th at 11am. For more information on location and directions visit msdachurch.org.
Since 1982 and in many scenarios, Pastor Tapp has served as a pastor, educator, author, church administrator, as well as a radio/television host and announcer and frequent podcaster, where he has been able to share God’s love and saving grace with the world. His ministry is fueled by the message found in Zechariah 4:6: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.”
Prayer is at the center of his life and the way he has led the ministry of the Potomac Conference Corporation as president for the past 3 years as he helps to lead 40,000 members to personal discipleship. As an avid tennis and golf enthusiast, and veracious reader, he also enjoys being a lifelong student. Charles and his wife Maureen, a former nurse administrator, reside in the Nation’s Capital where they have three adult daughters, and one grandson.
So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matt. 6:31-34 NLT)
